Rules
Rules
Rules personalize your redirects. Set conditions like country, device, or language to send each visitor to the most relevant page.
How it works
- You define one or more rules above the default target.
- The first matching rule (lowest priority number) wins.
Conditions you can use
- Country (ISO codes: US, DE, etc.)
- Device (mobile, desktop, tablet, bot)
- OS (Windows, iOS, Android, MacOS, Linux)
- Language (primary browser language, e.g., en, es, fr)
- Time (UTC ranges like 09:00–18:00, supports wrapping over midnight)
- IP ranges (IPv4/IPv6 CIDR)
Examples
- Send US mobile visitors to a mobile promo:
“geo: US, device: mobile → https://example.com/us-mobile” - Show EU users a GDPR‑compliant page:
“geo: DE, FR, ES → https://example.eu/privacy” - Run daytime/overnight campaigns:
“time: 08:00–20:00 → daytime; otherwise → overnight”
Tips
- Place specific rules above generic ones (use lower priority numbers).
- Use the “bot” device for social preview bots if you need custom Open Graph pages.
Plan notes
- Advanced Rules are available on Pro.
